FABRICATOR/ WELDER
Experienced structural steel welder/fabricator. Preferably hold Level 3 NVQ fabricator/welder as a minimum.
Welders’ must be able to gain coding on MIG/MAG Standard working Week; (Working hours are flexible, depending on workload)

Mon: 8AM – 4:30PM

Tues: 8AM – 4:30PM

Wed: 8AM – 4:30PM

Thurs: 8AM – 4:30PM

Friday: 8AM – 2:30PM

TRAINEE / EXPERIENCED CAD ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Primarily we are looking for an Advance Steel CAD technician, to prepare 3D models and drawings for fabrication.

Day to day tasks will include; communications with the design team, admin team, purchasing and liaising with the workshop foreman.

Competent telephone skills; being able to communicate with the LABC, our customers and supply chain.

Computer literacy is essential: Candidates must be competent in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Good attention to detail.

Problem solving skills.

Excellent numerical skills.

A genuine interest in design and engineering.

A knowledge of CAD, 2D or 3D would be advantageous. Experience using AutoCad and/or Advance Steel.

This is an exciting opportunity to join North Lincs Structures as a CAD technician. You will be part of the design team, responsible for producing CAD drawings in 2D and 3D. You will initially attend the Advance Steel software training programme for 2 weeks, where you will learn how to use Advance Steel software for 2D and 3D modelling.

Working Week;

Mon: 9AM – 5PM

Tues: 9AM – 5PM

Wed: 9AM – 5PM

Thurs: 9AM – 5PM

Friday: 9AM – 3PM


EXPERIENCED WORKSHOP MANAGER / RWC

We are looking for someone experienced in mild steel fabrication and welding quality control, to work in our busy steel fabrication workshop, in Scunthorpe.

Candidate to be familiar with;

Current Health and Safety regulation.

BS EN 1090 (UKCA – execution class 2) auditing and certification.

National Structural steelwork Specification (NSSS 7th Edition).

RWC experience/certification or willingness to become RWC. The RWC needs to have a clear idea of how the required quality can be achieved, implementing the correct execution class and procedures.

Managerial experience, monitoring/ motivating a team, working to our production schedule, within budget and meeting customer deadlines.

Good IT, numerical and communication skills.


CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced site manager to join our team.

Main responsibilities:

Ensuring projects are delivered to clients, on program and to budget.

Working with all teams from the;           QS and design team in the office.

The workshop foreman on production.

Managing sub-contractors on site.

Directly liaising with our clients, suppliers and Local building authorities.

Ensure all works are in accordance with current H&S regulations.

Site inspections.

Delivering on-site toolbox talks, site inductions and project briefings.

Computer literacy is essential: Candidates must be competent in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Good attention to detail.

Problem solving skills.

Excellent numerical skills.

Ability to show understanding of Local Authority legislation, planning applications and building regulations.

CSCS Card – Management

SMSTS

1st Aid

CPCS Lift Supervisor

Full UK driving licence.


GENERAL OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Day to day tasks will include; communications with all teams within the company; the design team, purchasing and site employees.

PART-TIME HANDYMAN

We are looking for a part time general maintenance labourer to work in our engineering workshop.

Genral tasks include the cleaning, inspection and maintence of welding, sawing and plasma cutting equipment, as well as general house-keeping and organising of the workshop tools and equipment.
